Safety

PIPA is an inspection scheme set up by the inflatable play industry to ensure that inflatable play equipment conforms to recognised safety standards.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA) and subsequent regulations require all inflatable play equipment “that is designed to be used by a member of the public for entertainment purposes either as a slide or for bouncing upon” to be tested by a competent person. All of our inflatables at Bounce Playzone are in date for testing with certification.

RoSPA test all indoor play areas to ensure they meet all British Safety Standards. RoSPA's Play Safety department provides advice and information on playground management and the safety of indoor and outdoor play areas. RoSPA annual inspections look at: Site design safety Ancillary item safety Equipment safety Surfacing safety. In all cases the condition is assessed and any repair or refurbishment requirements noted. Suggestions are also made, where relevant, to improving the quality of the site.

At Bounce Playzone our two tiered play area has passed all inspections with current certification.
